Oh my goodness! Having our Air Ducts cleaned was a terrific experience! Cade & Lucas were Friendly, Professional, and Knowledgeable about what we needed. My husband & I were so impressed! The Right Choice was great. Our AC unit stopped working and they were able to come out the same day I called and it was fixed and good to go within 30 minutes. The technician Ryan went above and beyond and provided tips and advice on ways to keep the unit functioning as efficiently as possible.

This company in my opinion is shady!!! In October they charged my $4800 to replace my "leaky coil" on my unit. After taking the unit out it appeared rusted and looked as if it had been leaking for years. BUT I have their maintenance plan and they were at my house in August because the unit "froze up" according to the tech. So yesterday they came to due the furnace and the tech said that "the ignitor wasn't heating properly". I asked how much it would cost to repair it? The tech said "$586" I asked why so much when the ignitor only cost about $40-50? He answer was "I don't make the prices" I told him to just put it back and I'll change it myself. I proceeded to call the manager but he wasn't in the office but I didn't receive a call back. I called again today and he was still out of the office. I later got a call from a guy claiming to be the owner. I explained to him that I believe they were jacking up the price, he told me "that's the price of doing business and that he had to pay his techs and pay for operating cost for the company". I have no problem with paying for labor but $586 for a $40 part =$546 in labor for a 10 minute job. I told him I would never use his company again. He asked if there was anything he could do to keep me as a customer, I told him I don't trust your company to give me a fair rate and I would never do business with them again.

I had an excellent experience with Ryan from Right Choice. He conducted a thorough inspection of my HVAC system, addressed all necessary repairs, and explained everything clearly along the way. The work included replacing the condensate pipe, repairing the drip pan, insulating parts, and fixing wiring, all of which were completed efficiently and professionally.

I'm not sure who came up with the name Right Choice. They have been Wrong Choice since putting in our units. They didn't get permits, left wires hanging out by the outside unit. We've had more problems than enough with this company. We had to go to TDLR and the city because we found out they hadn't got the permits to put the units in. The city red tagged them. Right (Wrong) Choice came out and fixed the problem once the city got involved. However, because we have a parts and labor warranty with them, which was included in the price of the units, we still call them to do maintenance. Until the warranty runs out, we cannot use any legitimate HVAC company. I must add, they don't maintain ANYTHING. We hate to call them because the units work better before they come to do maintenance than after they come. Make it make sense. It seems like they are trying to destroy the units because the warranty will be running out soon and because we put a ding on their reputation with TDLR. Well, they're going to get another ding on their reputation. They are just...SORRY!
So, we called them out to do maintenance on the systems. Now, all of a sudden the downstairs unit needs a compressor. They came out today to put in a compressor around 3:00 pm, I think it was. I received a text message from my husband saying it was 8:52 PM and they were still here. JUST SORRY! While putting the compressor in, they broke our Ecobee thermostat and commenced to put another thermostat in that they had in the truck, which was nowhere near comparable to the Ecobee they took out. THEN, they walked out without fixing anything and didn't even let my husband know they were gone. Where is the ecobee thermostat? It's not theirs. Anyway, needless, to say we are still without air. Make it make sense! I CAN HARDLY STAND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE COMPLETE FAILURES on so many levels, new management or not. If I was a betting person, I'd bet they would never win a competition for who was the best HVAC company. It seems to me they've been working so hard to SEEK and DESTROY that they probably wouldn't know how to win the challenge. Almost every visit has ended with FAILURE and CHAOS! This is the last year of the warranty and they seem to be trying everything to destroy our units. Did I mention, I CAN HARDLY STAND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Until next year, whenever they come cameras will be on them for submission to court. They don't like working with the camera on them probably because it shows that are not capable of fixing the problem. Or, that they're scammers.
I will be submitting a review here every week (or maybe everyday) until our units are completely fixed and until they provide a thermostat comparable to the one we had. I can't stand dealing with this company.

They are supposed to be replacing a compressor and a coil. BTW, it's always a problem with BOTH units. Every time they come, there ends up being a problem with something else. Now, it's the thermostat AGAIN! They can't get the thermostat to come on for the air conditioner. REALLY!!!? It was working before. Watch they say they have to come back next week...after Thanksgiving. Don't ever get parts and labor warranty because you continue to pay for it somehow or another. SMH. Bless their hearts. I'm convinced they'll never get it "right". Maybe they need to change their name to "Wrong" Choice or Absolutely "Wrong" Choice. My husband says give them a chance to fix it before I post a review. I'm posting anyway because no one would believe my prediction afterwards. When they're finished I will, if I'm wrong I will let you know.

We are Right Choice club members, and we have had an excellent experience with them every time they have been here. This time was no different. Our HVAC system stopped working so we thought it may need refrigerant and called them for service. Randy, our service tech diagnosed a bad blower motor on a 4 year old air handler. We initially decided to have the work covered by our home warranty service, but that is a story for another time about a different HVAC service company. When it became clear we wouldn’t be working with that company, I reconnected with Randy at Right Choice. He was able to get the work covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and just finished replacing the blower motor. Everything is working great as expected! Randy was also able to fix the root cause of the motor failure so that this won’t happen again. He does great work!

Use this company at your own risk. I was sold a brand new air handler in the attic because it was suggested that just cleaning the coils etc would be almost as expensive as a new unit, this was in 2023. I signed up for the maintenance plan along with the duct cleaning service that took over 6 months to complete due to re-scheduling and equipment problems. They actually tried to show up at 7 pm for a 4 hour job. 6 months later our scheduled maintenance service is due and when the tech completes the service he tells us it is not operating properly the pressure is too low, sounds like a warranty issue to me but then I'm told the plenim that was installed on the unit was incorrect size and not in the original price of the unit. My reply was why was it installed incorrectly in the first place! So in order to fix my problem they quoted me another $2400 to fix and then took 5 months getting back to me and offered to install at half price. This is not how business should be handled, they should have taken care of this it was their mistake.

Right Choice was fantastic. They texted me a reminder that my A/C hadn't been looked at and that it was time to look at it. Honestly, I didn't even know that I should be doing this, but I'm glad that I did, because I did have an issue with the A/C several years ago where it stopped working in the dead of summer and required emergency maintenance. So my goal now is to prevent that from happening.

Johnathan did a great job for us. We had a tree root grow into our main house drain and it was totally blocked. He got here very fast and went the extra mile to get the pipe completely clear. This company in my opinion is shady!!! In October they charged my $4800 to replace my "leaky coil" on my unit. After taking the unit out it appeared rusted and looked as if it had been leaking for years. BUT I have their maintenance plan and they were at my house in August because the unit "froze up" according to the tech. So yesterday they came to due the furnace and the tech said that "the ignitor wasn't heating properly". I asked how much it would cost to repair it? The tech said "$586" I asked why so much when the ignitor only cost about $40-50? He answer was "I don't make the prices" I told him to just put it back and I'll change it myself. I proceeded to call the manager but he wasn't in the office but I didn't receive a call back. I called again today and he was still out of the office. I later got a call from a guy claiming to be the owner. I explained to him that I believe they were jacking up the price, he told me "that's the price of doing business and that he had to pay his techs and pay for operating cost for the company". I have no problem with paying for labor but $586 for a $40 part =$546 in labor for a 10 minute job. I told him I would never use his company again. He asked if there was anything he could do to keep me as a customer, I told him I don't trust your company to give me a fair rate and I would never do business with them again.

I had an excellent experience with Ryan from Right Choice. He conducted a thorough inspection of my HVAC system, addressed all necessary repairs, and explained everything clearly along the way. The work included replacing the condensate pipe, repairing the drip pan, insulating parts, and fixing wiring, all of which were completed efficiently and professionally.

I'm not sure who came up with the name Right Choice. They have been Wrong Choice since putting in our units. They didn't get permits, left wires hanging out by the outside unit. We've had more problems than enough with this company. We had to go to TDLR and the city because we found out they hadn't got the permits to put the units in. The city red tagged them. Right (Wrong) Choice came out and fixed the problem once the city got involved. However, because we have a parts and labor warranty with them, which was included in the price of the units, we still call them to do maintenance. Until the warranty runs out, we cannot use any legitimate HVAC company. I must add, they don't maintain ANYTHING. We hate to call them because the units work better before they come to do maintenance than after they come. Make it make sense. It seems like they are trying to destroy the units because the warranty will be running out soon and because we put a ding on their reputation with TDLR. Well, they're going to get another ding on their reputation. They are just...SORRY!
So, we called them out to do maintenance on the systems. Now, all of a sudden the downstairs unit needs a compressor. They came out today to put in a compressor around 3:00 pm, I think it was. I received a text message from my husband saying it was 8:52 PM and they were still here. JUST SORRY! While putting the compressor in, they broke our Ecobee thermostat and commenced to put another thermostat in that they had in the truck, which was nowhere near comparable to the Ecobee they took out. THEN, they walked out without fixing anything and didn't even let my husband know they were gone. Where is the ecobee thermostat? It's not theirs. Anyway, needless, to say we are still without air. Make it make sense! I CAN HARDLY STAND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE COMPLETE FAILURES on so many levels, new management or not. If I was a betting person, I'd bet they would never win a competition for who was the best HVAC company. It seems to me they've been working so hard to SEEK and DESTROY that they probably wouldn't know how to win the challenge. Almost every visit has ended with FAILURE and CHAOS! This is the last year of the warranty and they seem to be trying everything to destroy our units. Did I mention, I CAN HARDLY STAND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Until next year, whenever they come cameras will be on them for submission to court. They don't like working with the camera on them probably because it shows that are not capable of fixing the problem. Or, that they're scammers.
I will be submitting a review here every week (or maybe everyday) until our units are completely fixed and until they provide a thermostat comparable to the one we had. I can't stand dealing with this company.

Now, it's the thermostat AGAIN! They can't get the thermostat to come on for the air conditioner. REALLY!!!? It was working before. Watch they say they have to come back next week...after Thanksgiving. Don't ever get parts and labor warranty because you continue to pay for it somehow or another. SMH. Bless their hearts. We are Right Choice club members, and we have had an excellent experience with them every time they have been here. This time was no different. Our HVAC system stopped working so we thought it may need refrigerant and called them for service. Randy, our service tech diagnosed a bad blower motor on a 4 year old air handler. We initially decided to have the work covered by our home warranty service, but that is a story for another time about a different HVAC service company. When it became clear we wouldn’t be working with that company, I reconnected with Randy at Right Choice. He was able to get the work covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and just finished replacing the blower motor. Everything is working great as expected! Randy was also able to fix the root cause of the motor failure so that this won’t happen again. He does great work!

Use this company at your own risk. I was sold a brand new air handler in the attic because it was suggested that just cleaning the coils etc would be almost as expensive as a new unit, this was in 2023. I signed up for the maintenance plan along with the duct cleaning service that took over 6 months to complete due to re-scheduling and equipment problems. They actually tried to show up at 7 pm for a 4 hour job. 6 months later our scheduled maintenance service is due and when the tech completes the service he tells us it is not operating properly the pressure is too low, sounds like a warranty issue to me but then I'm told the plenim that was installed on the unit was incorrect size and not in the original price of the unit. My reply was why was it installed incorrectly in the first place! So in order to fix my problem they quoted me another $2400 to fix and then took 5 months getting back to me and offered to install at half price. This is not how business should be handled, they should have taken care of this it was their mistake.

Right Choice was fantastic. They texted me a reminder that my A/C hadn't been looked at and that it was time to look at it. Honestly, I didn't even know that I should be doing this, but I'm glad that I did, because I did have an issue with the A/C several years ago where it stopped working in the dead of summer and required emergency maintenance. Johnathan did a great job for us. We had a tree root grow into our main house drain and it was totally blocked. He got here very fast and went the extra mile to get the pipe completely clear.
