4. SMS / Text Message Communications
This section describes how The Right Choice HVAC collects, uses, stores, and protects mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information. This section is incorporated into and forms part of this Privacy Policy.
SMS Sending Number: SMS messages from The Right Choice HVAC are sent from our dedicated messaging number (945) 319-8660. You may reply with opt-out or help keywords directly to that number. For voice support, customer service, or to speak with a representative, please call our main business line at (214) 251-4015.
4.1 How We Collect SMS Consent
The Right Choice HVAC sends SMS/text messages only to customers and prospective customers who have provided express consent through one of the following voluntary opt-in methods:
- Web opt-in: Visitors to therightchoicetexas.com may submit a service inquiry. Beside the phone number field, a separate, unchecked SMS opt-in checkbox is provided. The customer must affirmatively check this box to consent to receive SMS messages. Submission of a service inquiry without checking the SMS box does not constitute SMS consent, and the service request is processed normally without any SMS messaging.
- Verbal opt-in: Customers who call our business line at (214) 251-4015 may be asked whether they would like to receive SMS appointment reminders and service updates. Verbal consent is logged in our customer record system with the date, time, and identity of the representative who obtained the consent. Verbal consent is sought separately from the service request and is never required to receive service.
- Customer-initiated inbound SMS: Customers who text our business SMS number at (945) 319-8660 to initiate a service inquiry are deemed to have consented to receive related responses regarding the inquiry they initiated.
Consent to receive SMS messages is never required as a condition of purchasing any goods or receiving any services from The Right Choice HVAC. Customers who decline SMS consent will receive the same level of service as those who consent.
4.2 Types of SMS Messages You May Receive
If you have opted in, you may receive recurring automated SMS/text messages from The Right Choice HVAC, including but not limited to:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Technician dispatch notifications and estimated arrival times
- Service completion follow-ups and satisfaction surveys
- Estimate delivery and follow-up messages
- Scheduling change notifications
- New system installation coordination updates
- Billing and invoice notifications
- Account-related messages
- Seasonal maintenance reminders (only if you have opted in to marketing or promotional messages)
Message frequency varies based on your activity and service needs. Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.

The Right Choice HVAC does not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. This is true regardless of how you provided your phone number to us. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The only limited circumstances in which mobile information may be processed by a third party are:
